Hi all!!!
I’m doing pretty well. Slowly getting back on the wagon. Woohoo! I’ve been positive for a while now so I think it might finally stick again.. we’ll see.
So, I wanted to ask you all a question. Our one year anniversary is coming up next weekend (wow already!) and I’m racking my brain to try to think of what to give Joshua. I don’t want to spend much money. I had offered to buy tickets to a concert he was interested in but he ho-hummed that. He keeps telling me not to spend any money, but of course I want to give him something. The question is really, what. A poem, letter, etc etc I will try… but it’ll be hard LOL especially with Mr English buff over here!!!
Basically I was looking for input and ideas.. maybe things you all did on a limited budget, etc etc. 
Any input is appreciated!!

Hmmm….How about a romantic nite in? Candlelight dinner, movie, festivities..wink. wink.
I got my hubby a moive and a bag of his favoirte candies on our first because i knew it was something he wanted and something he wouldn’t fret over with money.
I like the dinner and candlelight idea, and a massage???
Our first anniversary is coming up on August 8, and I still don’t know what to do (our will have to be low-budget too). I was stubborn about changing my name, but I’ve decided to go do that. (He’ll LOVE that) Not sure what else though….

Hmmm I am not sure Joy..He might be happier about that idea that an average guy..meaning him being an English buff…
I think its a cool idea. I swear I can’t even remember what we did for our 1st anniversary,but ours was a bit different because we had a 3 1/2 month old baby. lol
Is there anyway you could talk the roomie into going to stay with someone else for the night? Kinda keep it secret so you can surprise the hubby.
hey im sorry that im just reading your blog but i hope things went well with you and your hubby. Im married also and our anniversory is coming up (16th august) and at the end of the mth me and my daughter (layla just turn 3 yesterday) are going away, so we dont have any mony to spear. I love him and he nows it so what i will do is cook a great meal with some wine and after watch a great movie. He loves that.
I hope u can give me some more idears to make the night more romantic.
