2-24-08

My mom’s birthday today. :)

For breakfast at 10 I fixed myself eggbeaters (1/2 cup, 60 calories) with half a slice of hot pepper cheese mixed in (about 50 calories) and a cup of 1 % milk.

along with it I had a piece of toast (90) with some Laughing Cow Cheese on it (about 25 calories)

325 calories.– a lot for breakfast, but it was oh so good…

I had a “snack” about 1… a banana and 100 calorie pack

about 215 calories.

“lunch”was around 3, munched on some caramel covered popcorn and a couple chips (2 or 3) until I decided I’d get REAL food.– a sloppy joe and some mac & cheese.  I’d say this was about 500-600 calories…

Leaves about 200 calories.  had cake and ice cream, about 1/2 a cup, 150 calories..

So how ever many calories the cake was calories is how much over 1200 I was.  Not bad.  I ate a small square of cake ( maybe 1.5 x 1.5) with little icing on it.  didn’t eat all the icing.

I did notice, however, that while I was eating the chips, and the cake, and the ice cream  that I didn’t enjoy it nearly as much as I used to, which I think is a good sign.

I’ve also been drinking a good amount of water.  Over all, I think it was a good day.  Planning on doing some team challenges before bed.  I could have done better, but it wasn’t horrible.

now I’ve been drinking water all day.

Breakfast was once again, a banana lol

I had a yogurt for a snack..

Started to feel sick at work around 12:45… (I normally have lunch at 12 but on the weekends I don’t get my lunch break at work until 2 or 2:30)

So I snacked a little bit to dull the stomach pains, drank some water.

Lunch was an apple and lettuce with fat free raspberry vinegarette

treated myself to starbucks — SKINNY LATTE! lol

Snacked..oreo 100 calories candy bits.

dinner was a stew.. beef, potatoes, cabbage, carrots. a large sized bowl… can’t be too bad. limited potatoes and meat in it.

going to do some crunches and such in a bit before bed.

Am a bit apprehensive about tomorrow.  It’s my moms birthday… Therefore, cake, ice cream, chips, sloppy joes….

I think I’ll be okay, though.  I bought some fruit, and I think I’m going to make fruit salad or cut it up and make a fruit dip (yogurt mixed with lite coolwhip..)

we’ll see. :)

Banana for breakfast,

Lunch was a pita with cheese and ham again, yogurt, grapes, and cucumber.

Snack was a 100 calorie pack of doritos…

dinner was kielbasi.. mac & cheese and peas.

Later I got on the treadmill..

Time: 20:08

Distance: 1.60 miles

Calories: 281

I REALLY need to start drinking more water, but my throat has been bugging me… making me not want to have to swallow things…

Banana, Lean Cuisine, and chicken alfredo for dinner. :)

I also did 1.75 miles on the treadmill— 32 minutes, 450 calories.

Yogurt and granola bar for breakfast…

Lunch was a piece of cheese and a pita, yogurt, grapes….Someone stole my 100 calorie pack of doritos :(

Dinner — salad with low fat raspberry vinegarette, some snacking at work =\

didn’t work out… got home about 9:30 and I was exhausted, only about 5 hours sleep.

breakfast- banana — about 120 calories

lunch- pita with cheese, lean generation virginia ham, yogurt, grapes, 100 calorie pack of cheetos :)

in total that’s approx. 400+ calories.

dinner — NO idea! ha we shall see what.

Planning on getting on the treadmill and trying out some wild cats exercises!

Need to increase my water intake. :eek:

Work 9-5 today. ugh. lol

Breakfast was a granola bar and a cup of fruit in jello (the dole brand I think it is?)

approx. 250 calories

Snack: Apple — 100 calories

Lunch: Lean Cuisine Chow Mein - 260 calories

Snack: Handfull of snack mix.. approx. 35 calories

Dinner: 2/3 cup cauliflower, 1 large baked potato. NO idea on calories.

Treat: fat free chocolate pudding. 90 calories

Now for side notes.. Instead of putting sour cream or butter on my potato like I normally would have, I looked in the fridge and saw….. A jar of queso con salsa… Decided to try it out. It tasted quite good on my baked potato, especially considering it was 45 calories for 2 tbsp as opposed to the 100 in one tbsp of butter!!

Also, the snack mix was the new Cheerios snack mix, which was SO good!!! I’d recommend it to anyone that likes anything like that, such as chex mix. I have the cheddar kind. YUUUM.

Not sure if I’ll get on the treadmill or not tonight. we will see.

So, I worked from 9-5:30 today.

I’m proud to say, I did not snack AT ALL at work today. Nor did I even attempt to! (pick something up only to put it back down…)

Yay!!!!! :)

I had a banana and a granola bar for breakfast..

Lunch was the rest of my subway sub (I bought a 12 inch because it was cheaper :rolleyes: )

Dinner will be, probably, Chicken A La King.. not too sure here.

AND…. I thought of a way to switch up my exercise. It’s kind of a “DUH!!!” moment on my part… I can do DDR! For those of you who don’t know what that is.. DDR stands for Dance Dance Revolution. It’s a video game for Playstation where there is a “dance pad” where you do the dance steps the game is telling you to do. It even has a work out mode that tells you how many calories you’ve burned, and miles you’ve run. :)

I’ve multiple versions of it, so it should keep me from getting bored between it and the treadmill (I hope!!)

Plus when it gets warmer I can actually WALK OUTSIDE, or ride my bike — oh how I miss my bike!

Wasn’t too bad yesterday, had a banana for breakfast, lean cuisine for lunch, subway for dinner, and yogurt and an apple as snacks.

:)

I however, did not get any exercise in really… Kinda bummed about that but my boyfriend and I spent some time together watching his favorite TV show!! lol

well I was kind of bad today as I’m sure a few people were…

had an 8 oz steak, french fries, salad, and onion petals for dinner. EEP!  We’ll call it a cheat day I suppose..

Not sure why, not feeling it on the treadmill the last couple of days.

I did half an hour, 1.57 miles, 250 or so calories… can’t seem to do anymore right now.

Hopefully it’s just a small beginners slump; maybe I was pushing myself too much at first.

We’ll see.

Lunch was a Lean Cuisine again…. Chicken and angel hair pasta in basil sauce YUM!  Hehe.

Dinner am not to certain on yet.. Mini pita with ham, and some other stuff, yogurt probably.  whew!

Going to get groceries after work (Am out of fruit!) .. any suggestions on stuff to buy? :P
